Public Lands

Montanans work hard and we play hard.  We must ensure we have access to the most beautiful place on earth.  We cannot allow privatization or destruction of our publically owned and shared spaces.

Public Education         

​

I would not have made it to where I am today without a solid, free K-12 education.  We must ensure our children have every opportunity to compete in this ever changing world.  Spending on education is not a luxury; it is an obligatory necessity. 

​

Affordability

​

I work on the front lines of poverty and it is spreading.  Working a full time job does not seem like it is enough to make ends meet, let alone get ahead in these times.  Montanans deserve to have a savings account.  Montanans deserve to be able to eat healthy.  Montanans deserve to afford a roof over their head. 

​

The American Dream of owning your own home has become a fantasy, only achievable for those who have a head start or are blessed with economic advantages the average worker does not have.  Hard working Montanans should not need an inheritance, a large gift, or a high interest loan to own their own home, let alone make ends meet.

​

Poverty is spreading and we need to put an end to that now. 

     

Jobs     

​

We must ensure our state has competitive wages to ensure our children and loved ones can continue to live in the last best place.  At the rate we're going, Montana will become a resort state, enjoyed only by outsiders on vacation and the wealthy.  I will do all I can to ensure we are able to work and stay here.
